Episode #396! John Byrne's X-Men: Elsewhen p.1! Your hosts DLNelson and Scott Sackett are back with another all-new episode. In the late 70's - early 80's John Byrne was artist extraordinaire on the Uncanny X-Men. After his memorable run on that title with writer Chris Claremont, he moved on to other titles at Marvel then to DC. Now 40 years later, Byrne is back drawing (and writing) The X-Men. This new series is fan-fic that isn't sanctioned or published by Marvel Comics. Instead, Byrne has taken upon himself to do his Elsewhen story of What If.... Jean Grey (Marvel Girl / Phoenix) didn't die on the moon. And the art is spectacular! Listen as we talk about the first 6 issues.
